The Laboratory is located at 9700 S. Cass Avenue, Lemont, IL: from I-55 take exit 273A (South Cass Avenue) to the main entrance on Northgate Road; follow Northgate Road and follow signage to the TCS Conference Center. Note: Northgate Road is approximately ¼ mile from I-55.
What to bring:
A state or federal photo I.D., such as driver’s license or passport, is required.
Business casual with flat, closed-toe shoes.

Step 2: For security purposes, everyone must register directly with Argonne by March 27th, using your name as it appears on your photo I.D.
Note for non-US citizens: There is an approval process that can take up to seven business days. You also need to email copies of your INS documents, such as permanent resident card or passport and visa and any other supporting documents, if applicable. The Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory is an Office of Science user facility funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. The APS is one of the most technologically complex machines in the world. This premier national research facility provides access to ultra-bright, high-energy X-ray beams to more than 5,700 scientists each year from every U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and many countries around the world.
