Atlanta, Ga. (June 6, 2018)—EMOTIV Founder and CEO Tan Le was presented with the Innovation Research Interchange (IRI) Achievement Award at the IRI Annual Conference today. This prestigious award is given to honor outstanding accomplishment in individual creativity and innovation that contribute broadly to the development of industry and to the benefit of society.

As an Achievement Award recipient, Ms. Le has joined the ranks of many other illustrious and pioneering recipients, such as Frank Benjamin Colton, a chemist who first synthesized noretynodrel, the progestin used in Enovid, the first oral contraceptive; Stephanie Louise Kwolek, a chemist who invented the first of a family of synthetic fibers now known as Kevlar; and Richard Frenkiel, an engineer known for his significant role in the early development of cellular telephone networks.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to recognize Tan Le,” said Ed Bernstein, IRI president. “As founder of EMOTIV, Tan has been a pioneering leader in the development of mobile EEG systems and in advancing understanding of the human brain.”

The IRI Annual Conference brings together a wide variety of true thought-provoking individuals from academia, government, and industry for three days of dialogue on innovation leadership. For more information about the IRI Annual Conference, go to http://iriannual.com/.
