Speakers

Pam Henderson is the Founder and CEO of NewEdge, Inc., a growth, strategy and design firm that advises companies across every industry including Fortune 500, startups and non-profits. Pam pioneered Opportunity Thinking™ principles, a new approach to innovation that helps organizations create sustainable long term growth. She has served as faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, and previously worked with the national laboratory system and Washington State University to commercialize early stage technologies. Pam speaks internationally and has published widely on market insight, business and innovation strategy, and design and has received recognition in the Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, and NPR.

Mark Putnam is an Advisor who has been with NewEdge for almost ten years. Mark has been foundational in developing practices that supports the Opportunity Thinking work they do, and was one of the initial leaders in developing NewEdge’s Opportunity EDU training service. Mark has worked with dozens of clients on how to integrate innovation tools in and across functions. He has worked with numerous companies such PepsiCo, Harley-Davidson, DuPont, SABIC IP, Armstrong World Industries, John Deere, The North Face, Novelis, Milliken, Parker-Hannifin and a range of industries from chemical and technology to food and beverage, CPG and more. Mark has a degree from Washington State University in marketing and strategy and has spoken at numerous companies and events.
