Our world is fast-changing, and has big problems that call for international collaborative solutions. Startups have the ideas and grit needed to solve these problems, but lack the resources or experience to commercialize or scale solutions and commonly serve as experimental laboratories for larger companies to source proven ideas. This creates an imperative for these organizations to collaborate with startups. This panel will present three models for collaboration with international startups - with government agencies, research universities and the private sector. The panelists will each present examples of a model, and discuss the challenges and benefits of each model for both the startup and the external partner.
