Annual Meeting 2012 - Accessing Internal Knowledge

Accessing Internal Knowledge
Large companies are increasingly seeking technologies from external sources. However, companies with multiple R&D sites have difficulty determining if solutions exists internally. This working group is examining organizational practices that facilitate the exchange of tacit knowledge across boundaries within an organization. The group’s aim is to identify: best practices for accessing knowledge, novel approaches that emphasize learning and innovation and strategic/systemic perspectives of the portfolio of practices for surpassing a range of intra-organization barriers.
