Social Networking in Business Today
Social networks are becoming increasingly important form of communication within R&D organizations, projects and teams. Social networks enable the organization to extend their reach beyond location and time zones to reach the innovation capabilities within the company and their associated networks. Social networks also enable broad collaboration and knowledge creation to improve a competitive edge. What is the real impact social networking has on an enterprise? What are the advantages or disadvantages of social networking? Will the use of new technologies change the way our firms innovate? The working group will report the insights generated through their research and identify topics for follow up projects.
