Steve Blank is the founder of what has become the Lean Startup movement. In this interview, he discusses Lean Startup’s roots in customer development, its integration of Agile software practices, and its use of the Business Model Canvas as a means of tracking the constant flux of real-world experiments. He also talks about the success at scale Lean Startup methods have achieved at the National Science Foundation and their promise in corporations. The practice is still evolving, especially in corporations; Blank concludes by reflecting on what modifications will be needed for the methods to succeed at scale in large corporations.
