IRI's PILOT Funding Scheme: Interested in working with IRI members to tackle key challenges?  Apply for up to $3,000 through IRI's PILOT Funding Scheme.  IRI’s goal for this initiative is to get SMEs working with our members on well thought out, organized projects that will address the top challenges our members face.  The deadline for applications for 2021 is January 22.  Please contact Lee Green for more information.

IRI and Babson College Research Roundtable:  R&D in the New Normal

IRI and Babson College are teaming up to do a long term study on the ‘new normal’ for R&D.  We will begin a series of quarterly roundtables to learn how your industry peers are being impacted by and addressing these topics over time.  In this first roundtable, we will hone our topics to ensure that they are covering the areas with the greatest impact on how your organization approaches R&D.
 

Hormel Foods Corporation, a global branded food company, announced the opening of its newest production facility, Papillion Foods, located in Papillion, Neb., which will make dry sausage products for the company.
 
New Jersey-based GAF Materials Corp. has finished its 200,000-square foot office and warehouse in Michigan City. Dallas-based real estate investment firm Mohr Capital built the facility, which includes and 23 acres of concrete storage capacity in Millennium Business Park.
 
Colgate-Palmolive has made sustainable packaging a key priority. From recyclable toothpaste tubes to aluminum bottles for mouthwash, they’re locked in on eliminating plastic waste and delighting consumers.
