Learning More About the Innovation Officer Role
Innovation officers are the fastest growing C-Suite position; however, little has been done to standardize the role and understand the impact. Join us to assess how innovation roles are impacting business results. The first step of the study includes a brief digital survey that will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. After assessing the data, we may contact you for a follow-up discussion to better understand responses. The output will be aggregated results, to maintain anonymity across the participants. Please complete the survey by April 10th.
Please contact Lee Green or Lee Ann Cochran with questions.
Explore cognitive biases, how they affect content design, and how you can eliminate their impact
Users' minds take shortcuts to get through the day. Usually they’re harmless. Even helpful. But what happens when they’re not? In this talk, David Dylan Thomas, Content Strategy Advocate at Think Company, will use real-world examples to identify some particularly nasty biases that frequently lead users to make bad decisions. He will then talk about some content strategy and design choices we can use in our apps, designs, and platforms to redirect or eliminate the impact of those biases. Finally, he will help us explore our own biases and introduce some methods to prevent our own blind spots from hurting users.
Join Fox Business School's Innovation Leader Speaker Series for a webinar on April 3, 10-11 AM (eastern) to hear David Dylan Thomas. **This event was originally scheduled as an in-person session and has been changed to a webinar.
