Cambridge Regional Meeting

Thursday November 10, 2016 5:00pm8:00pm
Draper, 1 Hampshire Street, Cambridge, MA

The Industrial Research Institute 2016 Regional Meetings will explore “Commercializing New Technology” in a series of networking and working sessions across the U.S. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers for this unique hands-on exercise in which they will explore best practices, challenges, and trends. Attendees will be divided into small groups to engage in breakout discussions on the following subtopics (led by moderators):

  • Intellectual Property
  • Trends in Innovation
  • Discipline Innovation
  • Building Partnerships

Participants will be able to rotate to each of the different topics, spending approximately 15 minutes at each discussing their experiences, challenges, and insights on that particular subject. Each moderator will guide the discussion and take notes, which will be used as part of IRI’s year-long initiative to develop a “Commercializing New Technology” toolkit. It’s a great opportunity to demonstrate your own expertise and learn from others in your field!

The event begins with a networking and welcome reception, which will also feature several Draper technology exhibits. Participants include R&D professionals from a wide variety of industries, so bring plenty of business cards with you! A full list of registrants will be provided a few days prior to the event.
