Match Making in Open Innovation
September 2009 | PROJECT STAGE 2 - Technology Development
Technology transfer is an integral part of Open Innovation and collaboration between universities, government, and industry. One of the dilemmas encountered in developing these collaborative relationships is finding the right “match.” Often, these three entities have different goals and objectives and, in a sense, speak different languages. The Managing Technology Transfer working group has gathered a large array of “Match Making” techniques and tools, and is creating a catalog that would allow IRI members to search for these tools more easily and provide real time comments on value, issues, concerns, lessons learned, tips for using, and more.
