Community Forum – How do you govern innovation?

IRI’s newest research project is looking at innovation governance.  The project team hypothesizes that organizations may have a lack of governance over the variety of innovation teams/structures that they employ.  Poor governance can lead to innovation teams/structures that are ad hoc, poorly funded, and lacking in scope, among other challenges.  Good governance can accelerate innovation and lead to better outcomes.  In Phase 1 of the project, we wish to learn about the innovation teams/structures that organizations have in place and their governance.
