2012 Member Summit- Strategy at IBM

The worldwide IBM Research IS (RIS) organization acts as a partner, collaborator and execution team for strategic innovations. RIS also scales, hardens, tests and develops reference architectures which allow for agile transfer from lab to product to customer, to deliver more quickly on a strategic vision. Attendees will learn about building the organization for this type of partnership, best practices on innovation execution and the processes and metrics to achieve and measure success. The presentation will focus on a recent and timely example for most IT organizations – the transformation to cloud computing in IBM Research.
